 As you may already be aware, new taxation measures were recently announced in Jamaica that will impact the tourism industry.  After careful consideration, the management of SuperClubs has taken the decision to discontinue airport transfers for Breezes Grand Negril and Hedonism II effective September 1, 2012.

We are aware that there are already a number of confirmed bookings traveling after September 1, 2012. These bookings, and any others confirmed now through Thursday June 14, 2012, will receive a credit of $20 per guest in lieu of airport transfers.  All bookings taken after June 15 for travel September 1st  onward will not be entitled to this credit.

N-Resort - It's Not Hedonism II - it's BETTER

As promised for the next several weeks I will be posting exerts from different trip reports that have been submitted by clients.

The Resort.  Arrival and check-in were handled quickly.  There was no bellman, however the GM himself came out and got our bags and the tennis pro/Entertainment Coordinator took us to our room and then on a tour of the resort.  It eased some of the irritation and frustration of the transportation adventure.   They were very gracious and we felt quite at home.  The buildings are  all wood frame, two stories and in close proximity to each other.  Oceanfront buildings are only about 20 yards from the surf , but everything is very close.  There are 96 rooms.  Tropical vegetation is mature and beautiful.

The rooms are really nice.  They are knotty pine inside and the second story rooms have vaulted ceilings.  Amenities include large closet, large bathroom (with all the normal supplies), balconies and plenty of space.  Each room has a refrigerator, hair dryer and king-sized beds with a mosquito netting (if you want to leave the windows open).  If you have an ocean front room you can hear the surf pounding all night long.   Our room also included two day beds and a third on the balcony.  There is a coffee maker in the room with a stock of coffee and teas.

Room servicing was exceptional.   There were plenty of towels and they also provided turn-down service each evening and fresh towels.

What Hurricane?

Bart here from Go Classy Tours, I am sitting on the beach in Negril Jamacia it is 9:08am here and the weather is perfect. Sunny, 86 degrees, a slight breeze, smooth waters, and lots of folks floating around on rafts. As they say down here, YeaH Man, Erie! That means everything is fine. Just thought I should let all those folks shoveling snow know...ha,ha.
